Timeframes vary depending on your vehicle and the job. As a guide:

What’s the difference between coloured vinyl wrapping and PPF?
Coloured vinyl wraps are cast films designed to change the appearance of your vehicle, offering a wide range of colours and finishes.
PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a polyurethane thermoplastic designed to protect your paint from stone chips, scratches, and everyday wear.
Coloured PPF is also available, giving both protection and a colour change in one.
In short: vinyl is primarily for style, PPF is primarily for protection, and coloured PPF combines both.
Is paint protection film (PPF) worth the investment?
Absolutely! You only get one opportunity to preserve your vehicle’s original factory finish, and paint protection film (PPF) is one of the most effective ways to do it. It shields your paint from stone chips, scratches, and UV fading, helping to prevent costly repairs and repainting down the track.
More than just protection, PPF also plays a key role in maintaining your vehicle’s resale value by keeping the exterior in top condition. Overall, it’s a smart investment for those looking to protect their vehicle long-term.
How long does a colour change vinyl wrap last?
Our premium wraps are designed to last 3–4 years. With proper care and maintenance, they should last the full recommended lifespan.
How do I care for my new PPF or vinyl wrap?
Caring for your wrap is simple and helps extend its life. Regular hand washing with mild, pH-neutral products will keep it looking its best. We also offer aftercare products designed specifically for your wrap.
For added protection and shine, you can opt for a ceramic coating, which helps repel dirt and makes cleaning easier.
Can I use a car wash or pressure washer on my Vinyl or PPF wrap?
We don’t recommend automatic car washes or pressure washers, as they can compromise the edges of the film.
The safest method is hand washing with a soft cloth and gentle cleaning products. This keeps your wrap in the best condition long-term.
Will removing a colour change wrap damage my paint?
If your vehicle has original factory paint in good to excellent condition, a professionally installed wrap can usually be removed within 3-4 years without damage.
However, if the paint is aftermarket, previously repaired, or has existing damage (such as stone chips, scratches, or rust), there is a higher risk of paint lifting during removal.
Can PPF be removed?
Yes, we can safely remove your PPF. When installed on factory paintwork in excellent condition, the film can be removed without damaging the underlying surface. Pre-existing paint issues, such as chips or scratches, may increase the risk during removal.
