Toyota Landcruiser - The real world PPF test
For over eight years, this Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series was put to the test, regularly tackling the harsh conditions of Victoria’s High Country. From narrow bush tracks to overgrown trails, the vehicle faced constant exposure to branches, debris, and rugged terrain. Before its adventures began, we protected it with a full application of gloss Paint Protection Film (PPF), designed to take the punishment so the paintwork wouldn’t have to.
After 8 years of heavy use, the Landcruiser returned to us with the PPF bearing the scars of countless trips. The film was heavily scratched and worn, a clear sign it had done its job. The real result was revealed once we carefully removed the PPF. Underneath, the original paintwork was in immaculate condition glossy, untouched, and perfectly preserved, just as it was the day the film was installed.
